RIA - Restoration Industry Association

RIA is the leading trade association for cleaning and restoration professionals. Company President Charles Cassani has twice been a speaker at national conventions. S.O.S. Trainer/Consultant Bruce Tyson served on RIA's Restoration Council for three years.

WLI - Water Loss Institute

WLI, a division of ASCR, sets the guidelines for water damage and sewage restoration and decontamination and confers the highest certification in the water damage field. Mr. Tyson has earned the Water Loss Specialist designation from WLI.

IICRC - Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification

The IICRC is a certifying body that sets the standards for textile cleaning, water damage restoration and mold remediation, and it certifies technicians and firms. All S.O.S. employees except office staff are required to attain IICRC certification with the company bearing the cost. Mr. Cassani was the 146th person to be certified as a cleaning technician by the IICRC which has now certified 46,000 individuals. For many years S.O.S. has met the annual requirements to be an IICRC-certified firm.

NADCA - National Air Duct Cleaning Association

NADCA sets standards for air duct cleaning and certifies technicians and firms. Mr. Cassani has been certified as an Air System Cleaning Specialist, and S.O.S. has met the criteria to be a NADCA-certified firm.
